Reliable Image Cache

Downloaded images are tracked, retried, and managed so your library stays dependable - no more “missing art” roulette.

  • Clear queued / downloaded states
  • Storage-aware download controls
  • Per-face and multi-face support

Collector Workflow

Edits, tags, locations, quantity updates, and fast collection actions - the boring but important work made smoother.

  • Move, tag, and update
  • Finish and condition tracking
  • Designed with future in mind

Print accuracy without the usual friction.

Different sets, different finishes, alternate treatments, double-faced layouts, collector numbers, and other print-specific details all matter to real collections. ScryStash is being designed to treat those details as first-class information instead of burying them behind vague matches or simplified entries.

FAQ

Quick answers, no fluff.

Is it really usable offline?
Yes. The goal is true offline usability, not a token offline mode. Search and cached images should continue working without signal so the app still feels dependable when you’re away from a connection.
Will it replace ManaBox?
Not for everyone, and that’s fine. ScryStash is being built for people who care about offline reliability, print accuracy, and collection workflows that go deeper than just checking a card name and price.
Will there be a premium tier?
No. ScryStash is being built as a fully free app, and all core features and functionality will remain free to use. The only premium content we may consider much later, after development is complete, would be optional cosmetic items such as skins. The app itself and 100% of its functionality are intended to stay free.
Can I import/export my collection?
Import and export are both important, but they make more sense after the collection foundation is solid. The goal is to support cleaner power-user workflows once the underlying data model is locked in properly.
Why make another MTG app?
Because a lot of players and collectors still want stronger offline support, better print accuracy, and a workflow that feels designed around managing a real collection instead of just browsing card data.
Is ScryStash focused more on collectors or deckbuilders?
Collectors first, but not collectors only. The app is being shaped around collection quality, print detail, and organization, while still leaving room for stronger deck tools over time.
Will scanned cards or camera tools be supported?
Later as an assist feature, not as the foundation of the app. The current priority is making search, images, and collection management feel strong and reliable first.
Will desktop be supported?
Yes, desktop first is part of the plan. ScryStash is meant to feel useful both on the go and at a desk where a lot of heavier collection work actually happens.
Will I need an account to use it?
The goal is to keep the core experience as lightweight as possible. Offline-first design matters here, so the app should not feel dependent on always being signed in just to access your own data.
Will prices be included?
Useful price information may be supported where it makes sense, but the priority is still card data, print accuracy, images, and collection workflow. Price features should support the experience, not dominate it.
